#1 RECORD I CAN'T BELIEVE I ALMOST MISSED OUT ON...
So, if you’re still just hanging around or if you got nothing to do this New Year’s, you should probably check out Asleep in the Sea’s Avenue. I don’t know how this Phoenix band remained undiscovered. Granted they sound a bit like the Unicorns, but more accurately they sound BETTER than the Unicorns. That’s right. I said it. So go find this record somewhere....

SCRAMBLES: SECOND BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR!
Punknews just put up their Top 20 of 2009, and although we made a handful of the staffers’ top tens, I was completely surprised to see us on this thing and even more surprised to see Scrambles at number two! We (almost) did it! Seriously, thanks to everyone at punknews for their constant support and also congratulation to the Sidekicks who totally earned that number one spot with that...

NOW THIS IS EXCITING...
I am returning from producing the new Wild (“The Wild” technically, “The Mild” if you’re being hilarious/snarky) record at Monster Zero (Joe Queer’s studio! fun!) in Atlanta. It was a whole lot of fun, Joe Queer was engineering and the record is gonna be fucking awesome. Summer jam of 2010. I’m callin’ it. Anyway, here’s the crazy shit. I AM ON...

Hey, everyone. Laura Stevenson and the Cans are going to be playing an early acoustic in-store at Chicago’s wonderful Reggie’s (I forget what the record store is called. If only I could find that information somewhere. What? The information is clearly on the internet somewhere? Oh shit, now I lost my train of thought…) and we figured it’d be fun to do an acoustic Bomb the...

THANKS FOR COMING!
Hey everyone, we raised about $700 for Safe Horizon and also ended up with a shit ton of clothes and toys. My van is stuffed right now. Thanks a lot for proving that we can get together and do something meaningful, even if it’s on a Tuesday night. Also, did everyone have as much fun as we did? Man, what a good time. Anyone have any pictures?

IF YOU MAKE IT 4.0.5.0!
Hey, so, my very good buddy Dave () has been workin’ hard on a redesign of the If You Make It website, which if you don’t know is an amazing source for free videos, music, and a bunch of other stuff in our wonderful underground thing. It’s a super unique website and it looks smooth. Check it out while you’re waiting years and years for the Quote Unquote redesign.
