A QUICK THANKS…
Hey, I neglected to say a few things last night ‘cause I was having too much fun with my buddies… but I wanted to say this.
1) THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO BROUGHT TOYS! It’s really nice when people go the extra mile to do something good… everyone who came to the show too, thanks a lot for supporting the cause, we ended up raising about $2,000 for Safe Horizon. YEAH!!!
2) WAS IT ME OR WAS IT KIND OF NOT TERRIBLY VIOLENT WHILE WE WERE PLAYING YESTERDAY? I don’t know if I wasn’t playing close enough attention, but at our past few shows in Brooklyn there’s unfortunately been this drunk macho shoving yelling asshole dickhead bullshit going on… I’m obviously not talking about everybody, or even the majority of people, but there’s always a few bad apples who are also the loudest apples. It was nice to not have to stop while we were playing yesterday to call anyone out on this shit. It was nice to see people treat each other well! So for 2012, keep treating each other like ya wanna be treated!! Hope y’all have a good one.
